What time should I arrive at the venue?
Guests should arrive between 4:00-4:15pm for a 4:30pm ceremony.
Are the ceremony and reception at the same venue?
Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Southshore Community Centre at 205 Lakeshore Drive in Barrie, ON.
Is there parking at the venue?
City of Barrie residents can park for free with their digital waterfront parking permit. Non-residents can request a temporary parking pass on their RSVP form. If you do not request a pass in advance, you will need to pay the regular visitor rate through the HotSpot parking app. Additional information can be found here.
Can I bring my kids to the wedding?
While we love your little ones, our wedding is an adult only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so that you can enjoy our big day with us!
Can I bring a plus one?
We are having a small, intimate wedding with only our closest loved ones, so plus ones are by invitation only. We ask guests to not bring a plus one unless they are specifically addressed on your invitation.
How do I RSVP and when is the deadline?
Go to the RSVP page on this website and complete the form. Please RSVP by October 12th, 2024.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
There is a spot on the RSVP form to indicate any dietary restrictions you may have. We will do our best to accommodate.
Will there be a bar?
Yes, there will be an open bar beginning after the ceremony with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Please indicate your drink preferences on the RSVP form to help us determine how to stock the bar.
What should I wear?
We suggest wearing semi-formal or cocktail attire for the event.
What time does the reception end?
Last call will be around 12:30am and all guests will need to leave by 1:00am.
Can I take photos?
We love that you want to capture our special moments, but we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. However, we encourage you to take all the photos you’d like once the ceremony is complete.
