Maid of Honour – Melanie Black
Sarah and Melanie’s parents have been best friends for 46 years, so Sarah has known Mel for her entire life. Sarah has always looked up to Melanie, was one of her bridesmaids in 2007, and couldn’t imagine having anyone else standing next to her on the big day.
Best Man – Aaron Poulin
Cory and Aaron have been best friends since their high school days at St. Peter’s Catholic Secondary School. Even though Aaron moved out of town several years ago, the two have kept in touch and remained close to this day. Aaron is the only person Cory trusts to stand by his side on his wedding day.
Ring Puppy – Sabine Wren King-Bidan
Sarah and Cory’s miniature schnauzer, Sabine, will be carrying the coveted rings down the aisle. She will likely bark and go crazy, as schnauzers do, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Flower Puppy – Ygritte King
Ygritte belongs to Sarah’s brother and sister-in-law, Jonathan and Katie. Sabine and Ygritte enjoy wrestling together and generally acting like fools. The two of them walking down the aisle together will be entertaining, at the very least.
Puppy Handler – Sadie Black
Sarah’s beloved goddaughter, Sadie, will be guiding Sabine and Ygritte down the aisle. Sabine and Ygritte love Sadie and Sadie is one of the few people who Sabine trusts to pick her up.
Master of Ceremonies – Jonathan King
Sarah’s charismatic older brother, Jonathan, was the perfect choice to be the MC for this wedding. Jonathan is sure to provide laughter and fun as he guides everyone through the events of the day.
